Together with the country we celebrated Victory Day which is one of the most important national holidays. A group from boarding school # 80 and volunteers participated in the celebration in the park located  on Alexander Nevskiy street. The event was organized by Municipal Council of Tverskoy District.

Children had an opportunity to meet veterans of the Second World war, talk to them and give them flowers. It was a new experience for our children since they were brought up missing not only parents but grandparents either and as a rule they were not aware of their family history.

We took part in the parade of organizations located in Tverskoy District, and our children were carrying paintings they made for the celebration.  

They were drawing on the pavement and afterwards tried a real soldier’s lunch from the field kitchen.
