The Onegin Party
On June 19 we had Onegin party at the studio. The idea belonged to our good friend and volunteer, psychologist Natasha Kolmanovskaya, she also became a stage manager and costume designer. Our staff, volunteers and senior students took part in it. Everyone was to recite a certain extract from Pushkin’s  poem “Evgeniy Onegin”. Our costumes were made out of crinkled paper but looked real.

Thank you, Natasha, we enjoyed it greatly. We are grateful to Municipal Council Tverskoy for the financial assistance.

The feature of the party became an “Onegin’s supper” with dishes mentioned in the poem such as,  for example, Strasburg pie decorated with dates of Alexander Pushkin’s birth and death as well as a sign “Tatiana + Evgeniy”.
